When renting a dehumidifier, it can sometimes be difficult to determine which unit or how many units you’ll need. At Priority Rental, we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to make an educated rental decision. Using this guide, feel confident that your dehumidifier rental will fulfill the needs of your project without causing you to overpay.
To make things as simple as possible, we’ve created the chart below. In order to follow the chart, you’ll need to know a few things for certain:
- The size of the space in need of dehumidification
- The conditions of that space
- Roughly how much water you’ll need removed each day
It’s easiest to start with the condition of the room, then move to the right and find the correct size. If you’re unsure of the condition, see the descriptions under “Symptoms.”
If your dehumidification needs fall within the lighter gray boxes, the DrizAir 1200 is the right dehumidifier for you. It’s very compact and easily portable but can still remove a powerful 64 pints of water each day. However, larger projects would fall within the darker gray boxes and require the larger LGR 7000 XLi. This impressive unit can remove up to 130 pints of water per day, has a self monitoring system with built-in sensors and humidistat. Also note that if you need to remove more than 130 pints of water per day, you’ll need to rent two or more units.
