Temporary Air Conditioning for a Retail Store

Our team at Priority Rental, a Herc Rentals Business works with retail stores often to supplement their cooling systems. If a store’s main AC goes out, it’s common for them to sometimes need temporary air conditioning to keep their business open and customers comfortable. This was the case for a recent job where we helped cool a retail clothing store that did not have air conditioning.

We provided them with three total tons of cooling using two small 1.5 ton water cooled AC units that didn’t take up too much room in the store. Since they only had one sink available to hook up the units, we had to use a “y” connector so that the two ACs could run simultaneously. Luckily the flow rate was great enough to support the connection and everything worked out in the end!
