On Saturday November 8th, the Villanova Wildcats played the Towson Tigers in Villanova Stadium. The game started off close, the first quarter ending in a 7-7 tie. However, the Wildcats seemed to get hotter as the game went on. It ended with a Villanova win — the official score 42-14.
Now, we don’t want to jump to any conclusions — but we can’t help but feel like the Wildcats’ heat on the field may have had something to do with the heat under their benches. For the second time this season, Villanova coaches called upon Priority Rental to help with extreme temperatures. Back in September, we rented evaporative coolers to both sides during a game against Fordham. Coincidentally, the Wildcats won that game as well!
On this particular Saturday, temperatures dwindled down to 44 degrees — arguably the coldest it had been so far in the football season. The coaches rented an indirect fired heater that was able to keep the players on the bench from stiffening up in the cold. As you can see in some of the photos below, the players really seemed to enjoy it.
If it weren’t for the undeniable talent on this team, we’d have to give ourselves credit as the Villanova good luck charm!
