We’re now going to demonstrate how to install an HSC-14.
So basically you want to take the ceiling tile kit; you want to move the ceiling tile just partially out of the way; and you want to be able to put the ceiling tile up into the ceiling.
It’ll catch the grid and it will dangle down the duct here. Then you are going to attach the duct at the top of the unit.
Once you’ve got it on top of the unit, make sure there’s no major kinks in the ductwork because you don’t want to cause an issue later. You are going to end up using a zip tie or any kind of clamp and you’re gonna put it in and zip tie it so it’s tight and can’t go anywhere. Then you’re going to plug the unit in.
Once you plug the unit in, your display will pop up. It’s going to read the room temperature that which the unit is sitting in. Basically on this side section, you have your power button, you have your up and down with your thermostat. That number will appear on your settings temperature. So when you hit power, you want to make sure that this symbol has a light on, as well as your fan, that’s going to give you your cooling and allow your compressor to kick on.
These are the lights you are going to want to see when you start up the unit. If the unit gets shut down improperly you might want to check and let the compressor come back on. You want to make sure that those specific lights are on to allow you to know that the unit is operating properly.
